Eduardo Eyzaguirre, M.D., FACP obtained his medical degree from Universidad Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru and completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology in 1997 with subsequent Surgical Pathology and Infectious Diseases Pathology fellowship from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dr. Eyzaguirre is currently Associate Professor of Pathology, and Director of the Laboratory of Immunohistochemistry, at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology

. Dr. Eyzaguirre is a coauthor of a chapter in Dabb's Diagnostic Immunohistochemistry and has been a presenter in the Houston Society of Clinical Pathologists in several occasions. Dr. Eyzaguirre academic interests include application of diagnostic management teams approach to a more personalize medicine in anatomic pathology, as well as residents and medical students education.
