Dr. Aristides Koutrouvelis, MD is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at UTMB, with adjunct appointments in the Departments of Surgery and Pathology. He is the Medical Director of the SICU and Program Director for the Anesthesiology Critical Care Fellowship. He is Chairman of the Institutional Review Board and is Medical Director of the Respiratory Care Program. He is also the Chairman of the Transfusion Committee at UTMB and a new member of the AABB.
