Angelica S. Robinson, M.D.

Angelica S. Robinson, M.D. is a board certified radiologist and Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She completed a surgical internship, diagnostic radiology residency, and specialized breast imaging fellowship through the Mayo Clinic, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio respectively.

Dr. Robinson specializes in advanced breast imaging including breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), MRI guided biopsies, and 3D mammography (tomosynthesis).

Dr. Robinson is a passionate educator who remains committed to providing exceptional student education. In her current role as Program Director for the UTMB breast imaging fellowship, she significantly contributes to resident and fellow education. Additionally, she strives to maintain rigorous professional standards throughout her department in her role as Director of Quality Management for the UTMB Department of Radiology.

Dr. Robinson serves as Director of the UTMB Breast Imaging section, and she is also an advisory panel member for the Texas Department of Health, Susan G. Komen Houston Medical Advisory Council, and the NASA Female Astronaut Health Standards Committee. She has been invited to lecture on a variety of breast health topics both locally and nationally.

Dr. Robinson has received various awards including being named as a "Woman Creating Change" award recipient (Change Magazine), "Texas Super Doctors Rising Star" award recipient (Texas Monthly Magazine), and "Top Doc's" award recipient (Houstonia Magazine).
